St. Patrick’s Chapel, Glen

St. Patrick's (Glen) Chapel

Whether you call it St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, or Glen Chapel, it is that wonderfully ornate building sitting at the foot of the Glenshane Pass on your left hand side as you come off the Glenshane Road and enter the Glen Road that brings you into Maghera from Dungiven.

  1. Good evening I was wondering if you can help I was looking for Patrick Henry and Sarah Logue’s marriage records the where married in 1892 on the 18th Of February that I am not 100% sure of. I think I have found Margaret Kane’s baptism date and if I have the right person then she is the mother of Sarah Logue. I tried looking on your church records, unfortunately it keeps coming up as no records at all.
I will appreciate any help that you can give me, have a lovely evening and hopefully I will hear back from you.

    1. Hi Nichola,
Hopefully you’ve got a lot more help from our Facebook group! As you may have worked out we do not have every record out there.. For some churches we have more records than others. We basically post records as and when we find them and actually get the time to transcribe and post them here. It is all a work in progress! 🙂
